Forum design and layout?

Just a quickie, what do ya think 'bout the new boards I tossed up in a whim?

Personally I find 'em damn nice actually! Definitely better than the old one.

i liek teh design and all, but its abit annoying with the avatars on the right side.
and the header need some work, i can make one for ya if you want?

oh and btw, shouldn't we use 'Rangers Reunited' instead of 'Rescue Rangers'?

Yeah, it's a bit weird with the avatars on the right side, but I think that you'll get used to it, eventually. If ya feel like making a header, by all means, go ahead. The current one is terribad. There's been some major whine 'bout our current guildname, people seem to prefer "Rescue Rangers" instead. So, I was kinda playing it safe and going with it here on the boards, planning to change the in-game guildname back to "Rescue Rangers" as well, in the near future.

Your comments, and thoughts 'bout this matter?

i like rangers reunited tbh, its more personal than rescue rangers. cuz lets face it, i guess 8/10 servers got a guild named rescue rangers. i can even add to the header that we are a previous guild on SH etc etc.

and i also believe we'll get used to the avatars on the right side, no problem there

Yeah, the header idea sounds good. Awesome.

Edit: Umm, I'm thinking we'll keep "Rangers Reunited" in-game then. Don't know about these boards though, I think Rescue Rangers is just fine. As you said, add to the header something like, umm, "Rescue Rangers aka Rangers Reunited", or whatever.

Personally I like the colors, and I thought you were into zombies? Zombies -> dead people, no? Anyway, color suggestions? !'ll see if I can get the avatars moved to the other side. Size restrictions for avatars, signatures and the likes are incoming as well, in due time.

As soon as i get photoshop up and runnin ill make a header. I was thinkin a theme with swe, X-men and a large sauna?

I'm still playing around with colors, and settings so expect to see some more changes.

One more thing tho, at least on this shitty old 17" I'm using, because of the change in background from dark blue [top] to light blue [bottom], I'm getting distortions and ugly looking lines on the upper half of the screen. Also, when you scroll down (or up) you get masked text if it matches the background, which it occasionally does because of the changing color scheme.

To sum it up, uniform background color plox

The Profile, PM, mail, website, msn, skype etc. buttons look like crap. Less gray, more color (neutral, light, soft colors).

Poll graphics look like crap when they're red. Maybe hollow with thick blue borders? Nah.. That'd look like crap as well. Anyway...

The red NEWTOPIC and POSTREPLY buttons scare me. Might get used to it though.

Uniform background color is fixed, together with some other minor changes/improvements. Personally, I think these colors are rather nice.

I also tried to make the "PM" -buttons somewhat nicer, I think I did pretty damn well. About the red thingies, I'd like to keep 'em.

Anymore complaints, requests?

Edit: I also tossed in a nice "quick reply" -box at the bottom of the page. I think it rocks, and I'm totally awesome.
